The Thomasville High School golf team traveled to Chatom on Monday, March 12, and finished second in a match whose field included Citronelle, Mobile Christian, and Washington County in addition to Thomasville.

It was the first match of the season for the Tigers who posted a team score of 389 second only to host Washington County's 338. Mobile Christian came in third with a score of 401 while Citronelle ended up with a score of 440.

Jamie Vick led the Thomasville team with a 92 followed by Matt Moore with a 94, Austin Mason with a 100 and Matthew Jacobs with a 103. Both Vick's and Moore's scores were good enough to place them in the top ten individual scores of the match.
