Are we losing interest?
If it weren't for the law requiring a vote, we're beginning to wonder if we should even bother voting on the wet-dry issue in Thomasville these days.

It seems like most people in Thomasville have grown tired of it always looming on the horizon, and aside from rounding up a few signatures, no one's heard a peep from the wet forces.

Do they even qualify as wet forces now? Does anyone aside from CAAST still care about this issue?

If this thing keeps dragging on, those Vote NO signs will nearly be compost by the time anyone actually goes to vote.

We've said it before, and we'll say it again, let's get this over with so Thomasville can get back to day to day life, whether it's wet or dry.

We predict that the AG's office will rule that the last municipal election is to be used to count signatures and we'll be back about where we were two months ago.

At least at that point, maybe we'll finally be able to set a date and vote.
