Daughters of the American Revolution

Annette Edgeworth Smith (Mrs. Mac) was guest speaker for the February meeting of the Elizabeth Bradford Chapter, Daughters of the American Revolution. The meeting was held at the Purser home in Linden. Preceding the program, the hostess served a salad plate.

Mrs. Tommie Dee (Hannis) Kennedy led the ritual. Mrs. Smith of Ranburne, who is the Alabama's DAR Recording Secretary, was introduced by Mrs. Purser, Chapter Regent. Mrs. Smith presented an interesting program on "Ghosts of the American Revolution."

The speaker who is Recording Secretary for the State DAR, was accompanied by Mrs. Ruth W. McDaniel, Birmingham. Mrs. Smith and Mrs. McDaniel are both members of the Chinnabee-Fort Strother Chapter, Daughters of the American Revolution.
