Oak Grove Baptist Church hold Revival on Monday nights Oak Grove Baptist Church Pine Hill will be holding Monday Night Revival services the month of April. There will be a covered dish meal at 6:00 p.m., with services at 7:00 p.m. each night. Speakers will be: April 9-Joe Cole- Pastor, Camden Baptist Church; April 16-Fred Freeman- Pastor, Providence Baptist Church; April 23-Tom Stacey-Selma, Director of Missions; April 30- Jerry Butler-Pastor, South Sauty Baptist Church- Langston. Music provided by Rickey and Sharon Ault. Everyone is invited!

Midway Baptist Church to hold benefit singing for Charles Hunt and family On Saturday, April 7, 2007 7:00 p.m. Midway Baptist Church is having a Benefit Conventional Gospel Singing to raise funds to provide financial aid to Charles Hunt and his family. Charles received extensive injuries in a two-vehicle accident and remains in the USA Hospital in Mobile. Everyone is invited to join the Midway congregation in supporting this worthy cause in this conventional gospel singing. The song leaders will be members of the attending congregation. Bashan Baptist Church plans Easter Services

Bro. Jimmy Simpkins and the Members of Bashan Baptist Church would like to invite you to attend our Easter Sunrise Services on Easter Sunday, April 8, 2007. Sunrise Service will begin at 6:00 am and then we will have our regular Sunday School Service at 10:00 am and Worship Service will be at 11:00 am. There will be no night services this day.

Sunflower AOH Church of God honors Pastor

Come celebrate with us as we extend honor and accolades to our pastor, Elder Samuel L. Calhoun II, for 22 years of dedicated pastoral service to the Sunflower AOH Church of God, McFadden Avenue, on Sunday April 8, at 2:30 p.m.

He had pastored other churches, as this is his 36th year pastoring. His knowledge and expertise is not limited to pastoring. He retired after 26 years from the U. S. Army, Army Reserve and National Guard.

Ladies of Distinction hosting benefit

The Ladies of Distinction Social Organization is hosting benefit program fro Bro. Will (Sam Bo) Westbrook on Saturday, April 7, at the Independent Missionary Baptist Church in Sweet Water. Everyone is invited and asked for a monetary token of love. All groups, choirs, soloists are asked to render melodies of inspiration.

Two Camden Churches join for the Lord's Supper April 6

Two Camden Churches, Camden Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church and First Presbyterian Church will join for an observance of the Lord's Supper, Friday evening, April 6 at 7 p.m. at Camden ARP Church. Pastor Jim Perry, pastor of First Presbyterian, will bring the message, and Lt. Col. Garrett Alridge, (USA Ret.), an ARP minister, will assist in the service. The choir of First Presbyterian Church, led by Jim Axson, will sing. At this annual joint Good Friday service, the two congregations, which have strong Scottish roots, will follow the ancient Scottish tradition of gathering about the table. Baptized believers of all Christian denominations are invited to join the observance of Christ's last supper.

Easter Sunrise Service at Round Hill Baptist Church

Round Hill Baptist Church will hold Easter Sun-rise service April 8, 2007 at 7:00 a.m. Mike Maloy, pastor of the Stave Creek Baptist Church will be the speaker. Everyone is invited and there will be refreshment after the service in the fellowship hall.

"Lights of Easter" and Easter Egg Hunt to be held in Sunny South

"Lights of Easter" and Easter Egg Hunt will be held in Sunny South Village Square on Saturday, April 7, beginning at 4:00 p.m. The celebration of "Lights of Easter" is an opportunity for Sunny South United Community to remember those, in the past, who benefited our community and to honor some who are still with us. Mt. Vernon Baptist Church Relay for Life Team to hold singing

Mt. Vernon Baptist Church Relay for Life Team will hold a gospel singing featuring The Centurions Friday, April 13, at 6:30 p.m. The Glory Road Quartet of Thomasville will also be performing. The Community of Faith Crosswalk Friday at Clay Park

The Community of Faith Crosswalk will begin at 11:00 a.m. Friday at the Railroad crossing at Clay Park. Everyone who will take part in reading or carrying the cross is asked to meet at 10:30 a.m. All churches and citizens of the Thomasville area are invited to attend the crosswalk as we remember the life, death and passion of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Midway Baptist Church Cemetery Committee request removal of old flowers

Midway Baptist Church Cemetery committee requests those having old flowers or containers to please remove them before April 16.
