Pat on the back for youth workers
      The fields are in great condition, and despite some weather issues, the youth baseball and softball season is in full swing with few hiccups. That's thanks to the hard work of city employees and volunteers alike, working together to create a great experience for the youth of our city.

      As the news keeps coming in from Blacksburg, Va. Reports are beginning to paint the picture of a very disturbed young man who went on this shooting rampage. I don't know if we'll ever truly understand what leads some people to do such things. May peace soon find the families of the victims.
