Infant Shawn Nicholas Brooks, of Dixons Mills, passed away Monday, April 9, 2007 in Dixons Mills. He was born March 19, 2007 in Grove Hill.

Graveside funeral services were held at Midway Baptist Church Cemetery in Thomasville on Friday, April 13, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Denny Couturie officiating.

He was preceded in death by paternal grandmother, Kristi Hunt Jackson.

He is survived by: mother, Tracy Brooks Dixon of Dixons Mills; father, Jesse Floyd Jackson, Jr. of Thomasville; sister, Kala Dixon of Dixons Mills; maternal grandparents Rob and Sherry Brooks of Atlanta, Ga.; Elsie Brooks of Scottsboro; paternal grandparents, Floyd and Renee Jackson of Thomasville; great grandparents. Robert and Jean Brooks of Jackson; Evelyn Collins of Scottsboro; Jack and Linda Hunt of Thomasville; two aunts and two uncles; Misty Stines of Tuscaloosa; Erik Brooks of Abilene, Texas; Eric Yeager of Las Vegas, Nev.; Megan Yeager of Minneapolis, Minn.; Godparents; Melvin and Carole Dixon of Dixons Mills.
