Ernest Nolen Bryant

Ernest Nolen Bryant, age 82, of Spanish Fort died April 21, 2007 at this home. He was born December 31, 1924 in Lawrence County, Tenn. He was a member of Grove Hill Baptist Church. He was a World War II Navy veteran. He was a member of the American Legion. He was a retired Pine Sales Manager at Scotch Lumber Company in Fulton.

He was preceded in death by two sons, Terry Allen Bryant and Michael Lyons Bryant.

He is survived by: wife, Margaret Augzell Bryant of Spanish Fort; one son, Jerry (Mary Lynn) Bryant of La Grange Ga.; one daughter, Angie (Tom) Waters of Spanish Fort; two sisters, betty Hassell of Chapel Hill, Tenn.; Marie Harris of Mt. Pleasant, Tenn.; grandchildren, Christy (Rick) Jones of Decatur, Ga. Wesley (Katharine) Bryant of Mobile, Hannah and Joshua Dunn of Spanis Fort; one great grancchild, Jackson Bryant of Mobile; nephews, nieces and other relatives.

The service was April 24, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. at the chapel of Lathan Funeral Home in Grove Hill. Burial was at the Magnolia Lawn Cemetery in Grove Hill.
