Phillips - Garrett plan a June 9 wedding

Cindy Melissa Phillips and Joshua Michael Garrett

Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Clark Phillips of Morvin, announce the engagement of their daughter, Cindy Melissa, to Joshua Michael Garret. The wedding will take place at 3 o'clock in the afternoon on June 9 at Creel's Chapel Methodist Church in Holtamville.

The bride-elect is a 1998 graduate of Sweet Water High School and a 2003 graduate of the University of West Alabama. She is currently employed by the Clarke County Board of Education as a teacher at Jackson Middle School.

The groom-elect is the son of Mike and Janis Garrett of Jackson. He is a 1996 graduate of Jackson High School. He is currently employed by the City of Jackson as a sergeant with the Jackson Police Department.

Family and friends are invited to attend through the medium of the press.
