Wetherbee - Davis exchanged vows

Mrs. Mark Thomas Davis
Megan Dial Wetherbee and Mark Thomas Davis of Birmingham, were united in marriage in a beautiful garden ceremony at Historic Rucker Place in Birmingham on March 31, 2007 at 4 p.m. in the afternoon. The ceremony was performed by Dave Barnhart, Associate Pastor from the couple's church, Trinity United Methodist Church in Homewood.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Dial Wetherbee of Camden. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Marion Ott and the late Mr. Ott of Thomasville, and of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Perron Wetherbee of Camden.

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Benjamin Davis of Mooresville, North Carolina. He is the grandson of Mrs. Byron Brigham George and the late Mr. George of Sarasota, Florida, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Pleasant Davis of Charlotte, North Carolina.

The bride was escorted by her father and given in marriage by her father, mother and sisters, Dana and Allison.

Her sister, Dana Wetherbee Kittleson of Collierville, Tennessee served as Matron of Honor, and her sister, Allison Wetherbee of Russeliville, Alabama served as Maid of Honor.

Bridesmaids were Katherine Eve Davis, sister of the groom of Mooresville, North Carolina, and Emily Nicole Kittleson, neice of the bride of Collierville, Tennessee.

Attending the groom as best man was childhood friend, Christopher Lee Walker from Charlotte, North Carolina. Groomsmen were cousins of the groom, Byron Brigham George of Seattle, Washington and Tucker Sibley George of Waco, Texas, and college friend of the groom, Jason Bernard Nimmer of Spanish Fort, Alabama.

Junior groomsman was Steven Brett Kittleson, Jr. , nephew of the bride from Collierville, Tenn.

A reception followed at the beautiful historic home. After a honeymoon trip to Jamaica, the couple will reside in Hoover.
