William Jackson "Mutt" Milstead

William Jackson "Mutt" Milstead, Age 84, a retired sawmill foreman of Sweet Water passed away April 22, 2007 at his home. He was born June 24, 1922 in Sweet Water.

Graveside funeral services were held at Sweet Water Cemetery in Sweet Water, on Tuesday, April 24, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Tony Cannon and Rev. Sidney Hill officiating.

He is survived by: wife, Alice Elizabeth Milstead of Sweet Water; son, Billy (Julia) Milstead of Thomasville; two daughters, Shirley (Clifford) McClure and Nita (Johnny) Robertson both of Sweet Water; one brother, Henry Milstead; three sisters, Janie Turley, Mary Angelos, and Modine Wood all of Sweet Water; six grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

Active pallbearers were: Brad and Lisa McClure, Mark and Anna McClure, Michael and Casey McClure, Jennifer Robertson, Stacy and Scott Henson and Chris Milstead, Kim and Curtis Gates.

Honorary pallbearers were: Morgan Autery, Seth McClure, Luc McClure, Katie McClure, Roy and Anna Etheridge, McKenna McClure.

O'Bryant Chapel Funeral Home in Thomasville directed.
