Auburn Alumni Assoc. names new member to board The Auburn Alumni Association board of directors this month appointed Saucier, Miss., resident and Thomasville native Marcus F. Conner '99 to serve as a board director. Conner, who received his bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from Auburn University, is a condition-based monitoring team leader at Mississippi Power's Plant Watson in Gulfport. He also serves as Gulf Coast vice president for the American Association of Blacks in Energy and Plant Watson treasurer of the Mississippi Power Community Connection. Conner is a member of North American Young Generation in Nuclear, the Southern Co. campus activity recruitment team and AU's minority engineering advisory board.
The Auburn Alumni Association is a nonprofit organization designed to support the allegiance between Auburn University and its graduates and friends.
