Empathize with Enterprise at THS
Students at Thomasville High School were busy during the month of March collecting money for Enterprise High School. After a deadly and devastating tornado struck Enterprise High School on March 1, THS, like so many surrounding schools, began working towards helping those who were affected by this terrible storm. Thomasville High School chose "Empathize with Enterprise" as their theme and began making small sacrifices to show their support. Some students chose to give up their break money for two days and donated it to Enterprise. Thomasville High School students also showed their support by paying to dress out in navy blue and white (Enterprise High School's school colors). Student Council took up money during homeroom from March 26-30. During this time each grade level competed with each other to see who could raise the most money. The total amount that Thomasville High School raised for Enterprise High School was $1,240.00. A big thank you is in order to all of the students and teachers who gave so graciously. Our prayers continue to be with the families who were affected by the storm. If you would like to donate money to Enterprise High School or to the City of Enterprise, please make checks payable to "ENTERPRISE ALABAMA TORNADO FUND" and mail your donation(s) to Community Bank and Trust P.O. Box 311245 Enterprise, AL 36330.
