George Dunigan, Sr. (Shug)

George Dunigan, Sr. (Shug) passes away on April 12, 2007. He was born August 4, 1931 in Coffeeville. He was a member of Cedar Point Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by: parents, Sam Dunigan, Sr. and Freater Hearn Dunigan; sister, Clora Lee Green; brother, Sam Dunigan, Jr. and a nephew Jackie McDonald.

He is survived by: his wife, Grace McMillian Dunigan of Coffeeville; one son, George (Jean) Dunigan, Jr. of Thomasville; two daughters, Shirley (Carl) James and Jessie (Grady) Gould both of Coffeeville; two sisters, Hazel (John) Hale of Chattanooga, Tenn.; Dorothy Johnson of Detroit, Mich.; 12 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, a host of nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral services were held at April 24, 2007 at Union Baptist Church in Coffeeville. Interment was at Cedar Point Baptist Church in Coffeeville.

Mosley Funeral Home in Thomasville directed.
