Honor's Day is May 10

The school year is drawing to an end and the students at Thomasville High school are slowing down their studies. Honor's Day for grades 9-11 will be held during school on May 10th at 10:00 a.m.. Honor's Night for Seniors will be on May 10th at 7:00 p.m.. Student Council elections will be held on May 15th during homeroom. Any student who is interested in being an FFA national officer for the 2007- 2008 school year should see Mr. Bradley. Any student interested in working during the summer for Thomasville City Schools should sign up in the office as soon as possible. THS graduation will be Friday, May 25 at 7:00 p.m.

The Drama club will be presenting the Wizard of Oz this Friday, Saturday, and Sunday in the high school cafeteria. If you would like to buy a ticket please see Mrs. Newton before school, during break, and after school. Those who purchase tickets will have assigned seating.

Library books are due for seniors on May 14, and for grades 9-11 on May 21. Senior Exams are scheduled for Thursday, May 17 and Friday, May 18. If you are exempt your last day of class will be Wednesday, May 16. Grades 9- 11 exams will be held on Wednesday May 23 and Thursday, May 24.

Volleyball tryouts will be held May 15th and 16th in the gym at 3:15 p.m. The Faculty and Senior Soft ball game will be Friday, May 11th at 10 a.m. The cost will be $2 and should be paid during 1st block. The Concession stand will sell snacks and drinks.
