Leadership camp
Jennifer Henson (L) and Dawn Baker (R) were Thomasville High School's representatives to the Alabama Lions Club Leadership Camp held at Camp Chandler May 4-6, 2007. Representatives are sponsored by the local Lion's Club and are chosen based on leadership, character, academic achievement, and community service qualities. At the close of camp, Jennifer Henson, a Junior at THS, was voted Alabama's Top Camper by the other camp participants. She will represent both Alabama and the US at the Lions International Youth Camp to be held in Hawaii July 7-29, 2007. Lions Club International, a worldwide organization, will host representatives, ages 16-18, from around the world for this event.
