Saluting those who work hard
      We salute the Quarterback Club for bringing back the boat races at Campbell's Landing. Though they've been gone for quite some time, they are still vivid memories for many here in Thomasville and we can see the excitement building as the race date approaches.

The toughest Father's Day

      I've read about how the holiday season running from Thanksgiving to Christmas can be quite hard for people, especially those who've lost loved ones recently. I think I have a good understanding of what that's like now. I've never wanted a "holiday" to pass more quickly than this father's day.
