Beverly, Phillips to exchange vows
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Aubrey and the late Hilda Dixon of Octagon and Dudley and Nell Clark and the late John C. Beverly Sr. of Myrtlewood. She is also the great-granddaughter of Florence Hill of Octagon. The prospective groom is the grandson of Mack and Jean Huckabee of Thomasville and the late A. J. and Jewel Phillips of Grove Hill and Sara and the late Edwin Knight of Grove Hill. Miss Beverly is employed at Sweet Water State Bank in Sweet Water. Mr. Phillips is employed at Massey Tractor Company in Grove Hill.
The wedding will be an event of June 23 at 7:00 p.m. at the Beach Pavilion on the Eastern Boardwalk in Gulf Shores, with a reception following at the Sailboat Bay Beach Club on Plash Island. No local invitations will be mailed; all family and friends are invited to attend.
