Joshua Generation Fellowship celebrates first anniversary

Johnny Harvell and his wife FeAnna Harvell will celebrate the first year of their new church, Joshua Generation Fellowship. Harvell says the church has grown in attendance and During the course of the year, they have started an outreach ministry at Country Oaks Assisted Living, and developed a mid-week Bible study.

On July 1, the church invite everyone to come help celebrate the anniversary. The services for the day are as follows: Sunday Morning Service 10 a.m. Instead of having an evening service, there will be a dedication of land the church has purchased on Hwy. 43 north of Thomasville that afternoon at 3 p.m.

Currently, the church meets every Sunday in the meeting hall of the America's Best Value Inn (across from the hospital). Regular service times are 10 a.m. and 5 p.m.

Harvell, who has pastored for 20 years prior to coming here, said, "I have never been involved with people who show the love of God like this group of people!" "A lot of Christian organizations talk about love, these people genuinely show it."
