      All four of the Thomasville Dixie Softball All Star Teams will be in action this Friday, June 22, as they travel to Gilbertown for the District tournament. The 11 & 12-year-old Dixie Ponytails will get things underway at 6:00 PM when they play Butler.

      Marengo Academy's Thomas Fultz signed a baseball scholarship to play at Lurleen B. Wallace Community College. Fultz is a 6-foot-4 right handed pitcher. His record for 2007 was 8-3 with one save and a 1.62 ERA.
