Finally
The Crepe Myrtles around Thomasville finally got a soaking after weeks without significant rain. Weather stations around the county reported between 1.5 and 2 inches of rain Tuesday. Until Tuesday's rain, the rainfall amounts for May and June totalled about one inch, according to National Weather Service records.
