Ferns and a hydrangea wreath graced the entrance to Pine Hill Baptist Church as Jessica Jill Agee and Robert Donald Steen, Jr. were united in the covenant of marriage on May 19, 2007 at 5:00 p.m. with the Reverend Carl Williams officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bain Agee of Pine Hill. She is the granddaughter of Betty Thompson Dozier of Roy, Washington and Mr. and Mrs. William Bartlett McGregor of Tierra Verde, Florida and Gussie Ruth Harper Agee of Pine Hill and the late Billy Frank Agee.

The church's large cross in the baptistery provided the backdrop for the ceremony.

Violins were played during the ceremony by the Lamb family. Grandmothers were seated to a selection of hymns and the mothers were then seated to "How Great Thou Art". Following the seating of the mothers, Christen Ridley of Birmingham read 1 Corinthians 13.
