Boys and Girls Club celebrates winners with most Power Points

The month of May was very busy for everyone. School was about to be out, the children were busy playing City League Baseball and Softball and enjoying end of the year parties at school.
The Boys and Girls Club held a Power Point Party for the children. The children were able to receive power points from the teachers by completing homework assignments, being helpful in the classrooms, being a good role model for the other children, etc. They spent their power points on incentives such as; books, water jugs, toys, and candy. We had a contest, the top three power point winners would receive an extra prize, those winners were: 1st place- Keenan Shamburger, 2nd place- Ambrian Hurry, 3rd place- Kayla Marshall, all three kids received a Boys and Girls Club t-shirt with a certificate.
The staff has had a busy summer already getting ready for a new roof we hope will be coming soon, as well as preparing for our new Pre-K program that will start when school starts back in August.
