Fireworks Saturday at THS Thomasville's fireworks show will be Saturday, June 30 at Gates Drive Park. The show starts at 9 p.m. The annual July the 4th American Legion Barbecue will be held at the American Legion Hall on Legion Drive. The public is invited to eat on the premises or take a plate to go for $5. Bulk orders are sold for $6 a pound. For more information, call 334- 636-2109. Free entertainment. Coffeeville The Second Annual Coffeeville Summer Fest will be held Tuesday, July 3 on the grounds of Coffeeville High School. The event begins at 3 p.m. and will feature live music, food, arts and crafts, water slides and an 8 p.m. fireworks show. Armbands for the slides are $5 but admission to everything else is free. Jackson The City of Jackson will sponsor a fireworks show on Wednesday, July 4. The show will be at the Rotary Club Fairgrounds in front of Jackson High School. The fireworks will start at approximately 8:45 p.m. Free. Other events Other events in the region include: Camden Events are slated Friday, June 29 and Saturday, June 30. Friday's activities will include a jazz concert and food at Roland Cooper State Park from 6 until 8 p.m. A Folklife Festival will be held at Black Belt Treasures from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. Saturday. Free. Chatom A day of fun starts at 5 p.m. on the 4th at the Chatom Community Center.
