Hodge-Brown to exchange wedding vows Sept. 3

Wendy Colleen Hodge and Michael Emery Brown

Mr. and Mrs. Tony Hodge (nee Michelle Haskew) of Gonzales, Louisiana formally announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Wendy Colleen to Michael Emery Brown. Michael is the son of Mrs. Ruth Hill of Dowagiac, Michigan.

Miss Hodge is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ned Haskew of Maurepas, Louisiana and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Lee (Boe) Hodge of Silas.

Mr. Brown is the grandson of Mrs. Amelia Castle of Dowagiac, and the late Mr. Victor Castle.

Wendy is a graduate of St. Amant High School of St. Amant, Louisiana. She is employed at Fry's Electronics while attending Austin Community College to further her career in jewelry fabrication and design. She also owns Wandering Girl Designs.

Mr. Brown is a graduate of Dowagiac High School in Dowagiac. He served five years active duty in the U.S. Navy. He is currently living in Pflugerville, Texas and is a software developer for Dell Computer Systems in Austin, Texas.

The wedding will be held at 4:30 p.m. on September 3, 2007 at the Jean I. Cochran Community Center in Round Rock, Texas. Reception to immediately follow. Invitations have been mailed.
