CHURCH CALENDAR Ladies and Gentleman, let's get busy Thomasville, exercise for you health. Three days a week will lower your blood pressure, help you sleep, and most of all help you feel good about yourself; Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday nights from 6:00 p.m. to 6:56 p.m. at Thomasville Church of God in Christ. Everyone is invited to Sweating in the Spirit. District Fellowship Meeting of the AOH Churches at Sunflower AOH Church Everyone is invited to attend the District Fellowship Meeting of the AOH Churches in this area, at Sunflower AOH Church in Thomasville. This meeting will be Saturday, July 14 at 7:00 p.m. There will be singing, preaching and praising God. Dickinson Baptist Church to hold Revival Dickinson Baptist Church will have Revival, Saturday and Sunday July 14 and 15, and the guest speaker will be Bro. Donnie Guy of Gulfport, Miss. Saturday service will begin at 6 p.m. with a Finger Food Fellowship and 7 p.m. for the message. Sunday services will be at 11 a.m. and lunch will be served afterwards with an afternoon singing featuring the Glory Road Quartet; then the night service begins at 6. This is also the church's 100 year anniversary and everyone is invited. Pineview Baptist hosts Prayer Breakfast Pineview Baptist Church will host a prayer breakfast this Saturday, July 14. A continential breakfast will be served at 7:00 a.m. in the church fellowship hall followed by a time of prayer in the church sanctuary. Everyone is invited to this time of concentrated prayer for our churches, community and nation. Pineview is located in Highway 43 South in Thomasville, and the fellowship hall is accessed through the downstairs doors facing the north parking lot. For additional information, please call 636- 5039. Bishop visits St. Peter's Episcopal The Rt. Rev. Philip Duncan, bishop of the Central Gulf Coast Diocese, will visit St. Peter's Episcopal Church on Sunday, July 15. Services will be at 11:00 a.m. followed by lunch. The community is invited to attend. The Rev. Buck Belmore in the priest in charge. The New Greater First Baptist Church to hold VBS The New Greater First Baptist Church will hold it's Vacation Bible School, July 16- 19 and the classes will begin at 5:30 p.m. through 7:30 p.m. Dinner will be served from 5:00-5:30 p.m. Classes adult through primary will be instructed. Vernon Baptist Church, on Highway 5 North in Thomasville, will have Vacation Bible School July 16-20, from 6:00 p.m. til 8:30 p.m. Ages 3 years old to 12 years old are invited. The theme of the week will be Avalanche Ranch and the commencement will begin at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. For more information call 646- 1606. Thomasville United Methodist Church to hold VBS Thomasville United Methodist Church will have Vacation Bible School starting Monday, July 16 and going through Friday, July 20. Starting at 9:00 a.m. til 12 noon and there will be classes for Pre-school thru 5th grade. Aaron Kerchner, youth minister invites everyone to attend. Christian Fellowship Baptist Church to hold VBS Christian Fellowship Baptist Church will have Vacation Bible School July 22-27, at 6 p.m., with Family night on Friday the 27th. The theme for the week will be Avalanche Ranch. Everyone is invited. Pine Hill Baptist Church to hold Revival Pine Hill Baptist Church will be holding revival services on July 22 through July 25. Dr. Allen Atkins, pastor of Fairhaven Baptist Church in Demopolis will be the speaker. Ricky Ault will be leading worship. Services on Sunday are at 11:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. There will be a covered dish meal at 5:00 p.m. on Sunday evening. There will be a singing at County Line Baptist Church on Saturday, July 29, starting at 6:00 p.m. Featured singers will be the Glory Road Quartet from Thomasville and refreshments will follow. Everyone is invited.
