Mauvilla Location the Topic of Historical Society meeting The Clarke County Historical Society will meet Sunday, July 29, at 2:30 p.m. at the Grove Hill Town Hall. The guest speaker will be Andrew Holmes, an archeological field technician for Barry Vittor and Associates in Moble. Mr. Holmes work has identified a location in the south part of Clarke County as the site of the important Indian town. The public is invited to the meeting. VFW Post 5106 meeting VFW Post 5106 and its Ladies Auxiliary will have their regular monthly meeting Monday night, July 30, at 7:00 p.m. All members are urged to attend to discuss the new year of 2007 and 2008.
