Newsome, Harrell to exchange vows
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Marjorie Powell of Grove Hill and the late Ledger Powell and the late Mr. and Mrs. Jessie Newsome of Fulton. The prospective groom is the grandson of Ms. Hazel Jean Steadham of Liberty and the late Alfred Steadham and Rev. and Mrs. Green Harrell of Andalusia. He is the great grandson of Ms. Eunice Drinkard and the late Harvel Drinkard. Ms. Newsome is a 2005 graduate of Clarke County High School. She is currently attending the University of Alabama, pursuing a degree in business. Mr. Harrell is a 2002 graduate of Thomasville High School. He is a 2007 graduate of the University of Alabama with a bachelor's degree in secondary education.
The wedding will be an event of Saturday, August 18, 2007 at 6 p.m. at Liberty Baptist Church. The reception will be held at the home of the groom's parents at 7301 Old Highway 5 South, Thomasville in the Liberty Community. All friends and family are invited to attend.
