Ernestine Hasty Drinkard, age 95, a bookkeeper of Thomasville, passed away July 24, 2007 at Montrose Bay Nursing Home in Montrose. She was born November 25, 1911 in Marengo County. She was a member of Thomasville United Methodist Church. Graveside funeral services were held at Choctaw Corner Cemetery in Thomasville, on Thursday, July 26, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Philip Craddock officiating. She is survived by: daughter, Carolyn Sankey; son-in-law, Philip Sankey; two grandchildren, Sharon Sankey and Matthew (Leslie) Sankey; three great grandchildren, Turner Sankey, Bobby Sankey and Harris Sankey. William Gibbons officiating. She was preceded in death by her husband, David Harmon Richardson. Retired with 20 years of service with Tarrant Police Department; employed part time with Peoples Barber Shop. Funeral services were held Friday, July 27, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. at Peoples Chapel. Burial was in Sylvan Springs Cemetery. He is survived by: his wife, Coline Woodall; four daughters, Sharon Woodall, Cindy (Jeff) Corbin, Julie (Pete) Price and Rebecca (Scottie) Atchison; eight grandchildren; four great grandchildren; a special family friend, Bobbie Thigpen.
