MA Cheerleaders named 2007 Champs
The varsity squad of Marengo Academy was named the "2007 AISA West Cheerleader Clinic Varsity Medium Squad Champion" at cheer camp on July 19, 2007. The squad also won 3rd place in the "Home Pom", 2nd in "Camp Cheer" and 1st in "Extreme Routine". They took home a spirit stick and 7 superior ribbons. Members of the squad are (front row) seniors Ashley Stokes and Sarah Bradford. Middle row are juniors Michelle Pritchett, Hillary Dukes, Casey Edwards, Mary Margaret Philen, Carrie Pope, Holston Maroney, sophomore Whitney Crocker, junior Lindsay Osborne, and sophomore Kaleigh Robison. Back row is Coach Denise Pope.
