Six teams remain at end of day Monday

When the dust cleared at the end of the day Monday, the number of competitors still remaining in the chase for the title of 2007 Dixie Pre-Majors World Series Champion had been narrowed to six teams. At that point in the tournament being held in Thomasville half of the twelve teams who began the quest for the crown had been eliminated from any further competition. In that number who were left with setting their sights on another run in 2008 were; the state representatives from Arkansas, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina and Virginia and the host team Thomasville.

As day four of the tournament got underway only Alabama and Florida remained undefeated with Louisiana, Mississippi, Tennessee and Texas holding 2 and 1 records trying to fight their way back through the losers' bracket.

A recap of all the games excluding those Thomasville participated in is chronicled on the further pages of this section.
