ADC meeting

Annual membership drive

Sweet Water Booster Club is currently holding its annual membership drive, filling vacancies for regular season reserved seating, and hosting a spaghetti supper Saturday, Aug. 11, 5-8 p.m. Contact Tammy Tucker at 992-2218, Donnie Givens at 736-4498 or Jill Morgan at 736-4132 for membership information, seats or tickets for the supper.

Snodgrass family reunion

Prayer vigil

Thomasville Baptist Church will sponsor a 24-hour prayer vigil from 7 a.m., Monday, Aug. 13 to 7 a.m., Tuesday, Aug. 14, in the church sanctuary. Individuals and groups are asked to commit to 30-minute segments. To sign up, call the church office at 334-636-4409.

A public community service will be held from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m., Monday, Aug. 13. Pastors and churches are encouraged to join during this time. Board of Education to hold public hearings

Thomasville City Board of Education to hold public hearings on the 2007-2008 Proposed Budget, Thursday, Aug. 16, at 6 p.m. and Thursday, Sept. 6, at 6 p.m. The meetings will be at the Thomasville High School Library.
