What would Jesus do?
With all the talk being about the alcohol issue, I felt that I needed to give one last plea to the people of Thomasville to vote no. Some have said that it's not a moral issue, that Jesus Christ is the way to get to heaven. Satan is not an atheist. He would vote yes for sure because he loves to see people suffer. He believes there is a God and he certainly knows there is a Jesus Christ. Remember he was once in Heaven with God. Christianity is a lot more than believing there is a God. We must follow His guidelines, obey His rules. How do you think He'd vote on this matter and how do you think He feels about alcohol?

We all know that it's about the money. There are things we "want" that we can't get without the revenue from the sales of alcohol, so some of our officials say. There are going to be many things we don't "want" if we vote it in.

I know many people know what WWJD stands for. If you don't, it means What Would Jesus Do? You can find these letters on t-shirts, caps, hair bands, bracelets, etc. Our young people wear them proudly without shame.

As anyone who reads the Bible knows that it says that Jesus is sitting at the right hand of the Father in Heaven looking down on all we do here on earth. He can see what alcohol does to families. He can see families broken up, abuse of all kinds, automobile accidents due to the consumption of alcohol. He can see little children going hungry, being beaten. Women having to hide out in a place of safety because of an abusive husband or boyfriend that has consumed alcohol. If only we could see through the eyes of Jesus!

If Jesus can see all of this from above, do you think He'd vote yes on August 14th? Why would you want to? WWJD?
