Gunter, Jones to wed

Hali Mills Gunter and Robert Allen Jones

Russell Gunter and Donna (Johnny) Doggette announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Hali Mills Gunter of Mobile to Robert Allen Jones, of Mobile, son of Wendell and Cindi Covington of Mobile.

The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Harold and Katharine Gunter, and Molly Phillips and the late Loid Phillips, all of Thomasville. She is a 2006 graduate of Clarke Preparatory School with plans to continue her education with a bachelor's degree in criminal justice. She is currently employed with WRPI Contractors in Mobile.

The prospective groom is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. W. Lee of New Orleans. He is a 2003 graduate of Mary Montgomery in Mobile and is currently employed with Dockside Services Inc. in Mobile.

The couple will exchange vows during a ceremony at 6 p.m., Sept. 29, at Bragg- Mitchell Mansion in Mobile. The reception will immediately follow. Invitations are being sent.
