Maternal great-grandparents are James "Henry" and Ethel M. Powell of Thomasville, Truman Hutchinson and Mary Williams of Thomasville and the late Mary Odom of Thomasville.

Paternal grandparents are R. Wayne and Elisa "Beth" Gulsby of Grove Hill.

Paternal great-grandparents are the late Bill and Juanita Gulsby of Grove Hill and Milanio P. and Victoriana C. Gloria of the Philippines.
