Bulldogs prep for 1A Maplesville and Brantley

Sweet Water Bulldog fans will get an early peak at the 2007 edition of the Bulldogs this Friday, August 24 when they travel to Maplesville to participate in a three team preseason football game. Joining Sweet Water and the home standing Red Devils will be the Brantley Bulldogs, another perennial powerhouse in 1A football.
Action is expected to get underway at 6:30 PM with Brantley and Maplesville scheduled to play each other first. Brantley and Sweet Water are slated to meet in the second period leaving the final contest of the evening between Sweet Water and the host Maplesville.
It should be an interesting evening for all who make the trip with three of the traditionally best teams in 1A football on the field together.
