County to research possibility of animal shelter

      Clarke County Commission Chairman Joe Hunt appointed commissioners Patricia DuBose and Elma Averett Tuesday to form a task force on establishing a county animal shelter. DuBose brought up the subject after she had received recent comments from county residents.

      Scott and Jennifer (Larrimore) Cannady of Peachtree City, Ga., announce the birth of their daughter, Sara Lillian, born at 8:19 p.m., Aug. 2, 2007, at Piedmont Fayette Hospital in Fayetteville. Ga. She weighed 7 pounds, 5 ounces and was 20 inches long.
