Cogle, Elrod plans told

Jeremy Eric Elrod and Callie Jenelle Cogle
Bruce Arnold Cogle Jr. of Thomasville announces the engagement and forthcoming marriage of his granddaughter, Callie Jenelle Cogle of Birmingham to Jeremy Eric Elrod, also of Birmingham.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Bruce Arnold and Kathleen Owens Cogle III of Fairhope. She is the granddaughter of Bruce Arnold Cogle Jr. and the late Austeen Dismukes Cogle of Thomasville and William Thomas and Marjorie Owens of Pensacola.

Miss Cogle is a graduate of Auburn University earning a degree in international business and marketing. She is employed by Compass Brokerage, Division of Compass Bank as a regional investment manager and certified retirement counselor for over 56 branches and 120 sales reps in north/central Alabama.

The prospective groom is the son of Edward Isom and Patsy Jean Elrod of Homewood. He is the grandson of the late Lanthus O'Neal and Flora Christine Elrod of Fultondale and Thelma Mae Bragg and the late Vernon "Jack" Haskel of Jemison.

Mr. Elrod is a graduate of Auburn University earning a degree in building science. He is employed by McCrory Building Company as project manager and is currently working on a multimillion dollar project for Gadsden State College.

The wedding will be held at 2 p.m., Sept. 2, at Gabrella Manor in Birmingham.

A weeklong honeymoon getaway to an unknown tropical location is planned by the groom, who will reveal the destination to his bride when they arrive at the airport.
