Auxiliary donates more equipment
The Southwest Alabama Medical Center (SWAMC) Auxiliary recently purchased an Ostress Tango and blood pressure monitor with accessories for all department at the hospital to use if needed from Cardiac Science. Cardiologists from Mobile that serve patients in Thomasville had requested this piece of equipment, which can even be used while transporting patients by ambulance and helicopter. The auxiliary also purchased an activity center for the nursing home, which will be used to stimulate intellectual, social and motor skills of residents. Auxiliary representatives extended thanks to the citizens of Thomasville for their support and contributions, saying it was through their efforts that these purchases could be made for the hospital and nursing home.
