Thomas Jestin Anderson of Thomasville and Jacyra Da Rocha of Boston, Mass., ex - changed wedding vows on July 20, 2007, in Virginia Beach, Va. Allen Sokolik performed the double-ring ceremony.
Miss Da Rocha is the daughter of Espelito Dornellas of Brazil and Lynn Comeau of Marlborough, Mass. She is also the granddaughter of Viana and Jacyra Dornellas of Brazil. She is a 2003 graduate of Arnaldo High School. Miss Da Rocha is currently enlisted in the U.S. Army attending basic training at Fort Leonard Wood, Mo., followed by training at Fort Huachuca, Ariz.
Mr. Anderson is the son of Peggy and Steve Pugh and Tommie and Ruby Anderson, all of Thomasville. He is also the grandson of Buddy Lynn of Sweet Water, the late Margaret Lynn and Voncille Long of Kimbrough. Mr. Anderson is a 2004 graduate of Thomasville High School. He is currently enlisted in the U.S. Navy and stationed on the USS Wasp, which is home-ported in Norfolk, Va.
