      The first father-daughter team has joined the Thomasville Lions Club. New members, Jimmy Gunn and his daughter, Meg Raley, have been inducted into the Thomasville Lions Club. It is the club's first father-daughter team.

Hospital Auxiliary thanks Bierschenk
      Southwest Alabama Medical Center Auxiliary (SWAMC) held its first monthly meeting since May at 10 a.m., Sept. 4, at the Hill House. Although auxiliary members work 12 months a years, they hold monthly meetings September through May.
