Smith, Motley united in ceremony on beach in Gulf Shores

Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Wayne Motley

The marriage of Misti Michelle Smith and Kenneth Wayne Motley took place at 6 p.m., Sept. 1, on the beach in Gulf Shores with the Rev. Charles D. Andrews officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Reggie and Denise Newton of Thomasville and Johnny and Donna Smith of Nicholsville. The groom is the son of Ken and Tammy Motley of Billingsley and Renee Gross of Harzard, Ky.

The bride was given in marriage by her father, Reggie Newton. Amber Ogle was matron of honor. Bridesmaid was Kara Jordan.

Flower girls were Emily Ogle and Kelsay Ogle.

Best man was Leo Motley. Groomsman was Ken Motley.

A reception was held at Gulf Shores Adult Activity Center. A rehearsal party was given by family and friends of the couple at Big O's in Gulf Shores.

After a wedding trip to Gatlinburg, Tenn., the couple lives in Thomasville.
