THS gets distance learning grant funds from state

      Thomasville High School learned in August that it had been chosen among 100 additional schools in the state to receive ACCESS (Alabama Connecting Classrooms, Educators and Students Statewide) equipment. The $85,000 grant allows THS to join in the state's distance learning initiative.

Brett Vick awarded scholarship to Faulkner State Community College
      Donald "Brett" Vick was recently awarded a presidential scholarship to Faulkner State Community College in Bay Minette. Brett is a catcher for the Faulkner Sunchief baseball team. Brett is a 2007 graduate of Marengo Academy in Linden. He graduated fifth in his class with honors.
