Student body gets to wear jeans this Friday

Wow! Life has been very busy here at Thomasville High School. Coming off of a week of graduation exams, our students are excited to get back into the routine.

In the words of Mr. Ferguson, "How 'bout them Tigers?" Congratulations to the Tiger football team in its 42-20 victory over W.S. Neal on Friday night. Despite the sprinkling rain, our Tigers pulled out

great victory!

This week the team will be traveling to Butler to take on Choctaw County High School. Please come out and support our tigers to yet another victory.

Another exciting football season announcement - the entire student body will be allowed to dress out in jeans on Friday. This comes to us because of the outstanding school spirit demonstrated last Friday. Students, Mr. Ferguson is counting on us. Keep up the good work!

The Lady Tiger volleyball team will travel to Jackson Thursday, Sept. 27. The game will begin at 4:30. On Tuesday, Oct. 2, the girls will take on Choctaw County and Jackson at home. These games will begin at 5 p.m. Good luck girls, we are all behind you!

Seniors, do not forget that you can pay your $35 senior fee now. Please get those in as soon as possible.

Attention! Juniors and Seniors you are now able to pay your prom fees. The cost is $50 until Christmas break. Upon our return in January, the fee will be raised to $75.

The Scholar's Bowl team conducted tryouts on Wednesday afternoon. We are sorry that results were not available by press time.
