T'ville Police closing in on burglary suspects

The Thomasville Police Department this week signed formal petitions in juvenile court for several juveniles related to a recent spate of burglaries in town.

Signing a petition in juvenile court is similar to getting a warrant, according to sources.

The names of the suspects were not released because they are minors.

Police officials did say that one to four juvenile suspects were charged in each case.

Thomasville Police did not release any more information saying the cases were still under investigation.

During August and into September, a number of area businesses were burglarized, including Lee's Kloset, the Salvation Army thrift store, Finding Balance Day Spay and Peggy's Style Center.
