Keahey injured on ATV
By Kathryn F. Pickard News Reporter

Bobby Keahey, former district attorney, was badly injured in a four-wheeler accident Saturday.

He was with a group of friends and relatives at his place on the Allen Road in Grove Hill preparing to go dove hunting.

As he was leaving the group on a four-wheeler his rear tire caught the fence post, causing the four-wheeler to flip with him several times.

Keahey was taken by private vehicle to Grove Hill Memorial Hospital and then transported to USA Medical Center in Mobile.

According to his aunt, Lanie Keahey, he has several broken ribs, a broken collar bone and broken hand and is in a lot of pain.

He will likely be discharged from the hospital this week.
