Gun theft suspects in federal court Four Thomasville men made their first appearance a federal circuit court in Mobile last week in connection with the theft of more than 40 guns from Dunn's Sports in August. Anthony Jones, 19, Dexter Law, 19, and Robert Bettis, 17, all of Thomasville, were arrested and charged with burglary a few days after the Dunn's theft on Aug. 15. Wayne Davis, 22, also of Thomasville was arrested and charged in the break-in last week. Davis was the final suspect police were investigating, Thomasville police department officials said. The four men made their first appearance in federal court last Thursday and were released on bond.
They were scheduled to be arraigned Wednesday shortly after press time.
