89th birthday celebrated

On Tuesday, Oct. 2, 2007, Louise Dungan "Mama Red" Thomas celebrated her 89th birthday in the conference room at the Thomasville Nursing Home.

Guests were served chicken salad cold plates with tomatoes, boiled eggs, potato chips and water or soft drinks. Birthday cake and ice cream topped off a great birthday party.

Attending were: her granddaughter Laura; daughter Joyce and son-in-law Jim Reaves of Jackson; daughter Scarlet and son-in-law Milton Cherry of Demopolis; daughter Cheryl and son-in-law Ted Morgan of Surginer; granddaughter-in-law Donna Dungan and daughters Cameron, Conner and McKenzie of Grove Hill. Mama Red's oldest child and only son, Eudell Dungan and daughter-inlaw Betty were unable to attend due to the death of Betty's brother Henry Hill.

Everyone wished Mama Red a happy birthday and are looking forward to next year when they will celebrate her 90th birthday.
