      Mr. and Mrs. Robert Grey Patrick of Thomasville announce the engagement of their daughter, Jamie Nicol Patrick, to Kimball Lee Clayton, son of Mr. and Mrs. Billy Clayton of Montgomery and Peggy Clayton of Wetumpka. Miss Patrick is a 1997 graduate of Thomasville High School.

      Callie Jenell Cogle and Jeremy Eric Elrod were united in marriage during a ceremony held at 2 p.m., Sept. 2, at Gabrella Manor in Birmingham. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Arnold Cogle III. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Isom Elrod.

      A Girl Scout Roundup will be held from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 23, at Thomasville Elementary School. Daisys - kindergarten and first grade - will meet from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. Brownies - first, second and third grade- will meet from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m.

      At Thomasville Nursing Home residents enjoy being outdoors in the fresh air. Recently residents had a funfilled day as they were able to go fishing. The residents and some staff members left out Friday morning with high expectations on catching a lot of fish.
