Pick up form at THS office to get float in the homecoming parade
School News
Katie Simon
Hey everybody! And welcome back to the students from your short, but much needed fall break! I can't help but wonder if your parents enjoyed you being at home as much as you did!

Before I begin announcements, let me give a quick congrats to our Tigers. At our peprally last Friday, a florist delivered a complimentary black wreath sent by Escambia County High School. But after our steam-rolling victory of 56- 19, we figured they must have had the wrong address!

Don't forget, we play Southside Selma this Friday night right here in Thomasville. As always kick-off is at 7 p.m. Good luck Tigers!

To every group or organization who intends on having a float in the upcoming homecoming parade, pay attention to this announcement! You must go to Thomasville High School and pick up the necessary form and turn it back in by Monday, Oct. 22.The entry fee is $20.

We are all counting on the homecoming parade to be a big hit this year. But don't believe me! Come out and see for yourself on Thursday, Oct. 25. More details will be available at a later date.

Seniors, if you have not paid your prom fees yet, they are $50, but only until Dec. 21. Turn them in to your homeroom teacher in an envelope labeled with your name and your teacher's name. To guarantee yourself a prom favor, pay these early! Prom is scheduled for April 19.

Anyone in need of community service hours, the Boys and Girls Club is looking for tutors. Tutoring is also available at the High School from 3:15 to 4:15.

Once again, reporting to you from Thomasville High School, I'm Katie Simon. God bless you!
