Ervin students appreciate AMSTI support

The fourth graders at F.S. Ervin Elementary School are studying the relationship between animals and their habitats, as well as some of the ways animals behaviorists study animals. AMSTI afforded students the opportunity to have hands on observation of millipedes, dwarf African frogs, and the fiddler crabs. The students recorded their observations and comparisons in their science logs. "My students are more motivated since we began using a new approach to science and using AMSTI science resources to make scientific investigations," remarked Edward Coles, fourth grade science teacher.
